@dulwich -  I live in the East Bay just across from San Francisco.  Wind has picked up quite a bit here this afternoon but it's still sunny.  Cold too!  Know you are 2 hours away and our weather is different but know if we're expecting lots of rain, you are also.  Take care and be careful.

@dulwich  So very sorry to learn this. 2020 was bad enough for your family.  Hoping you don't have to evacuate.

@JudyL I'm on the Peninsula.  It's cold and very windy over here as well.  Sounds like Tuesday night and Wednesday will be the worst of this storm.

@dulwich I hope you all stay safe.  Best wishes to your GD on her upcoming delivery!

Best to you and your family.  Please update us.

Is your GD with you?  How are your Labor and Delivery Skills?

@Drythe    Your comment made me laugh.

GD saw Dr today and he said he thought she would have delivered yesterday!    She lives house directly over road from us and her DH is one that - if anything happens - will faint, I just know it!  Plus she is under Stanford Medical and that is a good hour's drive from here.

Plan originally was she stayed in hospital week before expected delivery date don't know what happened to that!

At least we have plenty of masks, sterile cleansers but let's hope she does not deliver during power outage/storm! scheduled for next 3 days.

@dulwich All 3 of my kids (including a set of twins) were born at Stanford.  Your GD will be in good hands assuming she can make it up here!  I hope she has a backup plan for a closer hospital in case it's needed.

@dulwich   Sending loving thoughts aand prayers for safety for you and your family.  You all have been through enough lately and certainly don't "need" any additional stress.

Hope the weather predictions are incorrect.
