This news delights for many reasons.

It is fortunate when the child of high-profile and highly successful parents achieves something in her own right.  This is hers.  She might have had the resources that others do not enjoy to excel in this sport/passion, but what is more important is that she had the motivation and discipline to take her natural inclinations and talent to the top level.

I know it's not right...but my first thought was "I wonder if Daddy paid for it".

Then my second thought was that was probably not many minorities would be represented because it is super expensive.

I know she got there because of hard work.

I heard the commentator say that the horse and rider must become one and the horse must trust the rider.

It is beautiful to watch.
