Our local high school has a *zero policy* policy when it comes to drugs, alcohol, or weapons in our on the school gounds. A good policy. If you are found with any of the above you are automatically expelled for the current school year. "Unless" you are a football star! A female student was expelled for being intoxicated during a football game. Honor student. Just made a poor choice. Three weeks ago they had a surprise check on the school grounds, checking cars and lockers with police dogs. The football *hero* was busted with weed and brass knuckles found in his car. Automatic suspension for 10 days until a hearing. Daddy lawyered up and he is back in school playing football! Oh and by the way, the new principal was the head football coach for many years.
