Nor do I.
I also don't have a problem with "google it". If one can find their way here to ask the question, it can be typed in to a search engine as well. There shouldn't be any excuse for not being able to do one's own research.
I used to visit a board where people would say (when asked an easily found answer), "I'm not your Google Monkey". No one seemed to get bent out of shape about that. Posters here seem sometimes to be super sensitive about pretty much everything and nothing.

I think the complainers are vips....they let a business know what isn’t working and could be improved.

If a poster starts a thread asking how many people live in Los Angeles, I could see recommending google. But I'm guessing that often people want a discussion rather than mere facts.

Been guilty of that, except! My schlict is I DVR everything I watch. I know, what a mean old man. Guilty as charged!

If the stupid trivial posts were not posted then there would be no "snarky" replies to change the channel! No right or wrong here - just posts that have no point to them!
@Pook I guess there’s no point to your post either.

Oh but there is since I didn't start this post - just gave my opinion on a post!!! Once a trivial complaining post is started it's up for discussion.

I quite frankly think it's the opposite. They may think that they're the best, highest spending customer in the history of the world, but in reality they're just legends in their own minds. I see it all the time when I travel. People who think that having the airline credit card makes them special, when it just makes them one of millions of others.

I figure everyone has the right to complain if they want with some of the programming or things they wish could
be improved within QVC. ..............many times there are
legitimate grips, and some are looking to see if others agree...................WHAT I DON'T WANT TO SEE...is someone who is "tired of the same complaints"....staying on the post pages and then TAKING THE TIME to write back to the poster to "change the channel".........tell me that isn't something we have all heard over and over again.....and yet the poster who HAS to knock the original writer by repeating to "turn the channel"...is doing EXACTLY what they say the poster is doing....COMPLAINING...................live and let live....let people vent......for gosh sakes

It’s not snarky to say, “change the channel” if someone is complaining about what’s on tv, what’s ludicrous is demanding the content on the channel be changed because you don’t like it. That’s extremely self-centered. Would you go into a restaurant and demand they take broccoli off the menu because you don’t like it, or go into a department store and demand that the manager take all the items off the shelves you don’t like? The answer is yes, clearly some of you think that’s normal, and it is not. This nonsense about how making demands will inform the network about what they should be showing is also ludicrous. The best way to let them know if you are watching is to watch what you like, and when you don’t like it, change the channel. Ratings and sales will determine what QVC presents, not misguided contributors on their forums.

I think the reason they use that phrase is it's their inital thought. SO many posters have complained it's something we see quite often, although, well founded.
