I thought balloon sleeves were gone, but they're not. But what I think is even worse is the exaggerated over extended sleeve lengths. Disappointing to see a blouse or sweater you like, in the color you want, only to find the sleeves extend two to three inches past your very short fingers.

 

Oh, and it seems the asymmetrical cut on a top's neckline and hem keep popping up.

 

I find these are things that date a garment, and if not worn often enough, I don't get my money's worth.

If you save these clothes eventually the styles will come back.  Remember the 70's resurgance in the 90's.  Everything old is new again.
