@Helen852   Oh my, we get frustrated enough (but appreciate the city cleaning the streets) with the end of the drive but you get a double whammy!!  I despise winter.

I wish I could be stuck at home!  That would be fun!  I have to get out every day, 7 days a week, no matter what.  Ice on the streets is melting and re-freezing constantly and light snow continuously.  I feel lucky my car starts and gets me around in all of this, albeit at about 10-20mph because of the uneven ice build-up on the streets.

Rolling blackouts here too.  30-below windchill this morning.  I'm dressed like Nanook of the North.  Winter on the Great Plains.

I'm going to get a T-shirt that states:  I am a stay-at-home pro.

Pretty sure I qualify now.

We got almost a foot of snow in NE Indiana. I'm glad that both my husband and I are  retired and don't have to get out in this weather. I have my Kindle, coffee and wine so I'm good for awhile.

Plus the fridge has enough food.

I'm getting my revenge on the folks who dissed and laughed at me last year for ordering from Q a Artic Expedition coat !!    LOL

I've wore that coat now once back a month or so ago and you better believe I'm breaking it out now !

Re: Enough Already!

Well the meteorologists were incorrect again on the forecast for here.  Maybe they'll be right on the next one for this week.  It was forecasted for 8-14" .... lucky if we got 4 inches.  Granted it was icy and a bit dicey.  Not complaining at all.

@BornToShop I just posted on another thread about how it was nice to have 20 degree temps.  Seems like a heat wave now.  Luckily we didn't have to participate in the rolling blackouts.  That sounds rough.  Wish they'd fix the grid.
