En suite...or is it on suite?

Time for another one of my House Hinters threads. In either case, until I started watching Property Virgins, I had never heard the term. For us, it's called a master bath or an attached bath if there's access to it from another bedroom. Now every one of these shows uses the term en suite. We're watching House Hunters and my husband looked at me a few minutes ago and said "what the heck is an on suite"? Another one is "open concept". Property Virgins always says open concept. I've never used that term in my life.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
