What an odd thing to say.

I've heard that said about a number of people, and I don't think it's "odd" at all. Smiley Happy

Re: Emotional Send Off for Mary Beth Roe

I think I respect any of the hosts on QVC.  It is a hard, demanding job.  So many hours of prep, meetings and such you never see.  And live TV, it's hard. I was on live TV once for interview about something. And I can tell you know, I could never do it. First it's hot, then cold, so many cameras.  Having to know which camera to look into , making sure product can be seen. lol. And then being able to talk to camera is a gift. And fill in all the time. They don't want a lot of dead air.  Too much work for me.   I don't think the newer hosts get paid what people think. Considering the upkeep of. Skin, hair nails clothes etc it requires. I'm afraid I'd be out there in Birkenstocks or bare feet, with my red hair glowing like a Christmas tree, lol. Telling everyone to try sustainable clothing and shop at Fawbush.  lol lol

There are quite a few topics about MBR.  Some not so nice.

Anyway, for those of you on Facebook check out a post made by David Venable.  It is a recording of him and MBR singing Silent Night many moons ago.  Well done and both have beautiful voices.

I cannot post the link here.

I was thinking the same thing.

Re: Emotional Send Off for Mary Beth Roe - Final Show

So well put, @Luv2Watch !

I also loved it when hosts, viewers and vendors got flustered or tongue-tied with emotion, when trying to express their respect and love for her.

Such a testament to her effect on others.  It's both delightful and humbling to contemplate.

The sendoff QVC gave Mary Beth far surpassed anything I could have imagined they would do. Very well deserved Heart

@Shelbelle I don't blame her one bit either, she deserved it.
