First I would like to say I love my Emjo. The blue rollers that came with the original lasted about 2 minutes (ok a little exaggeration) but you get my point. I than ordered the Extrem rollers, thinking even though expensive, they would last longer. For me they didn't. I refuse to be taken advantage of by another company, just because they have the market on the refills. I'm not saying Emjo is the only company that does that...can list quite a few but will only mention ladies shavers, the sucker you in with a low price for the original product than gouge you on the price of the refill blades. Sorry emjo, but I will not purchase any more refills, until the price comes down (I also realize that will be a cold day in hades). I also understand that this little review means absolutely nothing. Sad thing is I really love my Emjo, but I am not made of money and for some of us it more a luxury than a necessity. I am really happy for those of you that do think replacement rollers are not that expensive and or are well enough off that it price it not an issue. LoL, do I sound bitter....probably, but it is what it is. I really don't think if enough of us would ban together and not buy would have any effect. Feel helpless on this issue, however my choice is not to buy. Sorry Emjo, I am for one a very disappointed customer.

Do you mean emjoi?

Did you complete a product review and give your feedback?

Hi Teggers,

I'm sorry it's not working for you. I've had my Emjoi for about 3 years and still have not worn out the original rollers. Please be careful because you could damage your skin if you press too hard. You are doing your feet, correct?

Perhaps you could explain what the problem and the ladies on the forum could help you out. It's a very popular product and many people really love it, me included.

Mom, Yes sorry I did mean Emjoi....spell check, where are you when needed lol. Yes I did complete a product review. Than you so much for taking time to respond....also

LaterGater, Guess I didn't make my self very clear....that does happen when I am emotional about a subject. Yes, I use it on my feet and it seems like I have harder and more callouses than you do. I don't think I over do it, just enough to smooth out my heals especially. Never have hurting my feat. I know it is very popular and when I use it with fresh rollers, there isn't anything better. It just seems that the rollers loose their "grit" after several times of use. Thank you for your concern about using it hard enough to damage my feet. As of yet that hasn't been a problem. Wow three years and still on the original rollers, lol, you much have such baby soft feet to begin with. I am trying to break the habit of going barefoot no matter the time of year. Of course I don't go to public places or out on the street bare footed, but certainly around the house and at times ...out in yard, etc. I'm not sure how often you use it but in the summer, every other day is not uncommon to use and in the winter I would say maybe twice a week, for me. This forum is really the greatest, most caring and helpful ...tks so much. Hope I did some clarification from my first post. As you might of noticed I don't post often enough to have it down yet...I noticed it was posted twice...my bad. Again I do really love my "Emjoi", (thank you Mom) very much, just think that the rollers, for me, are to expensive for the number of times I can use them.

You love the unit, but due to the hardness of your calluses, it's the manufacturers fault? Deeming it being 'taken advantage of'?

I, like LaterGator, have the original rollers. If your feet are that wheel's off, try clipping down your calluses first...or even use a hard grit nail file used for artificial nails to get the hard calluses to a manageable level before maintaining w/ your Emoji.
