Re: Emergency Call Buttons - Elderly

@Allegedly  A years go, my Dad fell on his back like a turtle and couldn't get up.  I kept calling his house (I live 500 miles away) and didn't get an answer.  Finally, I called his neighbors who were able to help.  Part of the conditions for him to continue to live alone in his house was to get one of these medic alert systems.  We looked at most of them.  My 91 year old Dad chose Life Station because the monitor that is used to call is also a speaker phone.  He didn't have to have another device like most of the systems.  It could all be worn around his neck.  Since he doesn't sit at home and does drive to the local grocery store/church, he has the GPS option.  As I recall, there were 3 levels: 1 is if you never leave your house, 2 is if you walk outside but don't exceed a certain distance from the house and 3 is if you are totally mobile so it has a GPS tracker on it.  The prices vary accordingly.
