Re: Ellen should replace David Letterman

I like Ellen but don't think sitting behind a desk would suit her. I don't like her afternoon show because of all the silly games. Wish she would interview her guests longer.

OMG-I'm sure THIS isn't popular-but bring JAY back for those of us who enjoyed him.

Re: Ellen should replace David Letterman

I love Ellen and think a nighttime show would not be good for the devoted fans who watch her during the daytime and just don't think it would be a good fit for her or her fans. Who to replace Letterman? No clue!

Has he shown an interest in returning to late-night tv?

Yes, and as the genuinely nice guy he is, not the snarky and hilarious dude he plays on "The Colbear Reporr". Smiley Wink

Re: Ellen should replace David Letterman

NPH is an entertainer, like Fallon. He would not be my first choice.

For a female, my vote is for Ellen. Not sure she'd want it, though. Her show is very popular. I think she's genuinely funny and would do well in that spot. It would be a refreshing change from all the same old, same old.

For a male, Stephen Colbert is my first choice. He's a very good interviewer and he can hold his own with celebrities, scientists, and authors. And now I realize I would really miss his current show.

In my opinion, no one can really replace Dave. He's one of a kind.

Jay Leno? No, Please NO.

I'd love to see Leno back, but he says he will not do late night again. I think he's looking for different projects. I do miss him very much.
