He and I had different beliefs on many things but he did love his country and his family is hurting. 68 is so very young. He is resting now after serving our land.

could not believe it when i woke up today.

he was such a great fighter for the people, a great fighter for our state, and a great fighter for america.

this is a big loss. he will be missed.

may he rest in peace. it will take someone special to fill his shoes.

i thank him for his passion, his concern, and his dedication to making things better.

My heart is broken over Rep. Cummings passing today.

He worked tirelessly for his constituents and my fellow citizens of Maryland.

His character, empathy and compassion will be sorely missed.

Very surprised to hear this. No one had known he was in such poor health. He defended his views vigorously and very recently. Prayers for his loved ones. On a side not some might find it surprising that I know who he is as I probably could not pass a civics test. Joking of course. It's all good, just my sense of humor. RIP Elijah. Always loved that name.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.
