Can someone please provide me with one good reason why my power company should advertise on TV? The ad is not to provide information, not about new services, not about savings, etc., simply that they think about power so we don't have to.

In my area one has the choice of getting their electric power from this company, producing their own electric power or doing without so it can't even be classifed at fishing for new customers.

My antagonism about this regularly running TV ad that says nothing is multiplied because the company recently submitted a request for another rate increase.
