Yes sunshine...... and I actually did get one of my feedback e-mails to go through.....and their response is generic......

They are fully aware of what is going on.

which generally means then that they pretty much dont care and these are THEIR boards to run as they see fit. many of the people who post on viewpoints are not even customers of qvc and they freely admit it.

Well, I'm a very good customer to the Q.......but I do see many posters post on here that they don't shop at the Q.

That is what I am talking about. This place is toxic due to the moderation. I think the Q would care if they really knew what goes on here. That is why I said if enough posters contact them they may take a look. Otherwise this place will always BE toxic.

I have seen and experianced good friendships broken because of it.

I know, I agree. I just don't know if they care,even if they know how people feel,...it is much more than the edit some are excited about, much more than that, some things they have let go far too long.

showme, that may just be ONE of the reasons why qvc doesnt necessarily care about what is going on on these boards, especially viewpoints.

IMO, it just causes more animosity among posters to blame it on each other. Makes things even worse.

It's possible that NO ONE is doing it and it's some kind of system glitch or the system flags for some purpose.

I really don't think you can do that.......as it is done by the "Report Inappropriate" being done.

yes, it can show an EDIT on your own post if you go back to your post but DONT change anything.....it will still say edited.

Ok, I guess you can EDIT your own......I just never tried to do that. I did read on here one time where someone said it can't be done.....I assumed when I should have. Sorry about that.

Yep .... I tested that, too. We also tested "hitting" each other and it happened every time. I do believe there are several "uses" for the edit button.

Janna, the edit is the least of the problems here. It doesnt bother me either EXCEPT for that post I mentioned was deleted on the cig machine thread yesterday, that was uncalled for. Other than that I dont care about the edits, they have bigger problems here. jmo
