Hmm...🤔At least you got a heads up in a letter. We didn't get anything in advance. We weren't even sure we'd get a payment. We're retired and since it doesn't affect our monthly income,  like those who are out of work, we weren't worried about it. Of course, we can always use the extra income and we are grateful to get it!🙏🏻

This must be part of the final payments from the first stimulus payments bill.  They were saying checks could take several months for those without direct deposit info available and this was a faster way to get the payments out to those in that category.

As far as I know a 2nd stimulus payment bill is still pending and therefore has not even started being disbursed.  Someone correct me if I am mistaken please, but I do try to keep up with news.

@Scorpio1971  you are correct.  So far it might not be until late June. Senate still has to pass it.
