Does anyone here use Ebates? I've heard about it and it seems too good to be true! I've always heard that if it sounds too good...

Rebate sites are not too good to be true, they are 100% on the up and up. I use Ebates, ShopAtHome, Mr Rebates, Be Frugal, Extrabux and Top Cash Back, I love getting my checks in the mail!!!

I don't use Ebates. I use Top Cash Back and sometimes Mr. Rebates. Rebate websites are a good way to earn money. There is nothing phony about them. The key is to find the ones where they offer good rebates for the stores you shop the most.

mr rebates and ebates and extrabux are the ones i use. if you arent using them and you shop online, then you are missing out on many dollars that could be put back into your pocket.
no tricks, no gimmicks!

@Shelbelle Yikes! I had no idea there were so many! How do you find the right ones? Is it better to find one and stick with it? Help!

I too use lots of these sites. Coupon Cabin seems to have more exclusive deals than the others and often has cash back for retailers that are not represented on the other sites. I start there first and then compare cash backs over a few sites.

I use several of these sites. I prefer MrRebates because it generally offers more cash back than ebates.
Around the holidays, it pays to check several sites because the numbers change pretty often as everyone is trying to get the most users and traffic. Sometimes the percentages for some sites, especially low percentage sites like QVC, will double around the holidays.

Some rebate sites require that you have a minimum amount accumulated before you can get your money. For example, Mr. Rebates has a $10 min before you get paid. Top Cash back has no min that I know of. Not sure about other sites.

I found Mr Rebates to have most of the sites I shop at. Right now I have $50.00 in my account and $80.00 pending.
I request a check twice a year.

You can stick with one or use several, totally up to you. I like to shop my rebate sites for whoever is offering the highest % rate from my shopping site on that particular day.
