How does it works with returns?  Are the balances kept for awhile so there is time for returns?  Is shipping included or just the item amt.?

@BaileyBop,

Your rebate is held in a "pending status" until a specified time has passed, usually 30 days. Any rebates from returns will be deducted from your "pending" total and you will never see it again.

As of this very minute, I've collected $5036.52 from Mr. Rebates...think it's worth the trouble?  The key to success is remembering to use it with each Internet purchase.

I use ebates and have now signed up honey @ Chrome website. When I go to a site honey will pop up(on my screen in the right corner) on most sites and look for discounts on that particular web- site. I then use ebates if its eligible. honey takes just seconds and will fill out the discount coupon for me where you apply the discount code. Awesome for an extra discount on most sites.

I've been using Ebates for several years and have done pretty good with them.  You need to retrain yourself to access the rebate site first before going on to the actually shopping site.  If you don't then you don't get your rebate.  Once you get used to it, it becomes more automatic.  I've been wanting to check out Mr. Rebates but keep forgetting to since I'm so used to using Ebates.

That's why I like the browser button Ebates came out with.  It will flash and you will get a little pop-out so you can activate the shopping trip.  No more remembering to go through Ebates first!

i like mr rebates the best because i can wait and accumulate cash back and then get a rebate credited at the beginning of a month to my paypal. account.

i generally take a deduction every other month.

right now i have $205.22 in available rebates and $407.13 in pending rebates. i do have referral rebates also, so that makes the amount even higher.

Wow, Sun, you are quite the online shopper!! I am just the opposite, whenever I get $10 accumulated, I ask for a check. I figure, why let them keep my earned money. Better in my pocket than in theirs.

hi @Shelbelle

yes, i do buy mostly online......it is just easier and i am not a huge fan of the malls or town centers. i do have a lot of referrals, so that helps bump up the rebates. the holidays that are coming up will really increase the amount also.

Me too, I am also an avid online shopper, I gave up malls long ago, BTW, you will have to come over to my area soon and visit Foundry Row, there wil lbe Ulta, tons of casual restaurants, so far there is only DSW, Wegmans, I think.

With Ebates it's just the item amount.
