Hello all, Tried to post this on ebates thread but it was closed. Must you have a pay pal acct for rebate to go into. What else can I opt for.? Are all qvc purchases eligible for 2.5%? Please explain how it works, is it automatic from the ebates site? Thank you qvc fellow posters

When you sign up, you can choose whether you want your accumulated cash back to go to a PayPal account or sent to you in what they call a "Big Fat Check". Yes, your QVC purchases are eligible. Gift cards are excluded and the rebate only applies to the first shipment of an A/D.

When you join Ebates, it's imperative that you first log in there, and then locate your shopping site from the Ebates site. If you forget to log into Ebates first, you cannot go back and tell them to fix it after the fact. Ebates also will not apply if you make a purchase over the phone. It only works when you follow the correct steps on your end. It takes some diligence in reminding yourself to go through Ebates at first, but eventually it will become more like a second nature to check with them first, to see if there's a rebate where you want to shop. Sometimes there are special promos where the rebates will increase for a period of time. You'll receive email notification about those specials. Anyway, the rule to remember is to "go to Ebates first". When you find the site you want to shop at just click through and start your shopping. Your purchase will be registered, for lack of a better word, with Ebates and your rebates will tally for a 3 month period before the payout happens. You will be able to track everything on your end. It's great to get paid for buying something you would have purchased anyway. Smile

Just wanted to add to also use evreward dot com for comparison shopping, they compare a bunch of websites and let you know the highest rebate. Fatwallet is good to.

ShopAtHome offers a 110% rebate rate guarantee. If you find a better rate than what they are offering, you fill out a little form on their site, shop thru them and they honor the higher rate plus add an addl. 10% of it too. So for example, , a 10% rate becomes 11%.

Wanna hear something funny?

My DH got his Big Fat Check a couple of weeks ago....a whopping $5.10
Mine came yesterday.....$60.85! I'm using it on some new Korean skincare. What else, right? {#emotions_dlg.lol}
