After while it becomes annoying to watch these hosts stuff food on their mouths and talk.

Why do you watch a food show knowing that's what they do?

Mist be a really tough job.  The hosts seem quite pampered. They seem to have few hours and get lots of vacation time.  I wouldn't want the job though, wouldn't like the hours and having to lie so much.

This doesnt have anything to do with the thread topic. They do more than what you see on air. They have prep meetings, buyers meetings, probably post-show meetings etc. Some have been there over 30 years so  i imagine, just like my colleagues, they get 5 weeks of vacation and holidays off. Good for them, theyve earned it.

How far into a 3 hour food show does someone watch before they realize what they're watching is a food show.

@shopped out   I' ve tried to think of something else the hosts can do on a food show that might please you.

@lilywhite.  You seem to forget the hours of meetings, training, and special projects in which they must participate, not to mention the constant pressure to sell.

It's a tough job that I wouldn't want.

The minutes to wood conversion for this equation also explains how much wood a woodchuck would chuck—if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

I don't watch food shows. I dislike playing with food and seeing the pinching and  pulling apart of it.
