I don't agree and this is only speculation on my part but as previously mentioned the point of speed buy is that it's streamlined. If they offered all the same choices as regular checkout what would be speedier about it, lol. It's far easier to pay off an easy pay order than to have your credit card charged the full amount only to have to turn around and call customer service to say "I actually wanted easy pay" which may or may not be granted as an afterthought. Maybe they chose the default by majority rules...do more people choose easy pay or a 1 time payment? IDK.

Either way, easy pay is clearly the better choice when options are limited as they are with speed buy. I've only ordered using checkout rather than speed buy and therefore never had a problem with not being able to customize my order to be exactly how I want it. The entire process only takes a matter of minutes at most.

I always use Speed Buy, but I also click on the "yes, I want to review my purchase". At the top of the next page, just click on the "edit" to the method of payment/easy pay options. Even if you miss that, you can still go to your account and change the easy pay to pay in full. No need to call customer service....sometimes it's just easier to take care of it yourself!

Because it is speed buy. If you don't want easy pay then don't use speed buy or click the box that says you want to review before buying. I always check that box.

I have been trying to get all my ez pays paid off, unfortunately it's not working!  When I look at my credit card statement and see ez pay after ez pay, I get disgusted with myself.  Of course on any card other than the Q card the actual item purchased isn't shown.  You have to go to "my account", look up ez pay items, then match up the numbers.  Such a pain.
