I ordered 2 Isaac Mizrahi Pima Cotton Tops 2 days ago - and I just noticed that it's being billed EZ-Pay. So - QVC set the default on EZ-Pay - WHY??????? Each time I've ordered recently, this happens - and I have to either call or email QVC. I HATE EZ-Pay. Anyone else notice this??? QVC has complicated statements - especially when returning items - so EZ-Pay Breakdowns are impossible to track. I'm just upset.

When ezpay is offered, it's the default when using speed buy.

If you use regular checkout, on the order page there is a box you can check to pay in full or use ezpay.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

It pays to check out the usual way and to check the settings when doing so...

EP will always be QVC's excuse for calling something a 'special event'... Instead of offering real savings as a way to highlight an 'event', they will always opt to offer EP and hope customers take the bait...

Don't buy a lot anymore but when I do and use speed buy and it defaults to the easy pay I change it to one payment. My buying is so infrequent now that I usually forget how/where to do that and have to look around a bit but it's doable.

Aha I see that as I was typing someone gave the directions how to do it, good, wrote that down for next time that I forget.

You don't need to call or email customer service to change your payment method. Just go to Order Status in your account, click on Easy Pay at the top of the page and click on Edit Easy Pay. You can pay the balance from there.

For me its always been that way.  Dont speed buy and pick your pay option.  Easy as pie, dont be upset.

Yep, that is why I never use Speed Buy, even if that means that they may run out of something. I never use Easy Pay and want to manage my billing myself.

Defaulting to easy pay makes sense to me especially since a few others mentioned this happens during speed buy (which I never use).

When trying to use a faster method I guess you don't get all the options, but again, I see why they do it. If you end up with an unwanted easy pay plan it's a breeze to go to your account and pay it in full if that's what you prefer. Not as easy to have the entire amount charged on your credit card and then tell customer service what you really wanted was easy pay!

I agree with those who say don't use speed buy unless you're sure about what you're getting.

I guess the point is not that you can change and or pay them off, more that WHY is THE DEFAULT ezpay to begin with.

it should be an option not the standard
