No.  I realise "life" happened to them, bless them.

Nope. Went to my high school 60 year  reunion in 2017(didn't graduate, but was invited), my first one. Went there a couple hours after ice skating for 2 hours. Had a black eye from a fall I took about 2 weeks prior.

After seeing these people, some I knew, others I remember seeing! I did realize I started high school the same year(1953)as them. A couple in wheel chairs/several/a few carrying oxygen tanks.

Talked with those I knew and remembered. Pretty much about life after high school and just general stuff. I came away after talking with them, feeling this way.

I did not hate it! It made me appreciate how I decided many decades prior, to put my physical fitness and health at the top of my priority list.

Was happy I went, but to say it was fun!

There's an episode of:"The New Adventures of Old Christine" where she attends a reunion and couldn't get over how a lot of former classmates have aged, esp. the men.

Both my parents died quite young.  I have no problem seeing older people, especially now that I AM an older person.

Most people at the last reunion I attended looked as if they had taken good care of themselves, but of course, some were dealing with health problems.

There's a bond when you've attended the same schools, so the reunion is about memories--not so much about how people look now.   Most of the people at my last high school reunion (50 yrs)...maybe I am weird, but I thought all of us looked a lot more comfortable in their skin.  I know I do--

My response as well @SusieQ_2 . 😀

I must be missing something here. I thought it was tongue in cheek and meant to be humorous. I was surprised at some of the replies.

LOL, well, yes, it happens.  You have to remember some people live harder lives than others.  Please try to look past their physical appearance.
