Welcome to the world of ebay, once you get the hang of it you will love it, been my go to dept store for over 20 years.  Warning, it can be very addictive!!!

Me, too.  I also sell on Ebay, and think it's far superior to Amazon for several reasons.  None of that $35 free shipping threshold nonsense to deal with, although FS isn't always the better deal.  Sometimes I want just one thing.

JMO, of course.

I also prefer it to amazon, especially if the prices are better, usually they are.

when you bid on a item, it's accepted, but, then, you can't find the 'pay now' submit button does that mean you have to wait till the taking of bids are over ?

why can't I go ahead and buy it, been accepted ?

whole thing was very confusing. The DVD set had 2 prices on it. one was 79.99 and when I clicked to buy now, it showed 117.00.

I go "huh" emailed the seller and said I'd go 79.99 but not 117. Then they tax it too. Free slow shipping.

He accepted then I thought I would just go back to the page and hit pay now and be done with it.

no option to pay. I have to wait till Thurs.   Hard to find DVD set only reason I'm sticking it out.

Somebody had told me one time about 'Media Outlet' as a place to find rare hard to find TV shows. I found what I wanted, ordered it, on Labor Day and I'm still waiting to receive it.   No more ordering from them.

Just pay attention to the seller's ratings and number of sales and you'll be fine. In all the years that I've shopped on eBay, I've only had two times I needed to contact them and they ruled, quickly I might add, in my favor both times.  So just know that if you do feel like you got burned or cheated in a purchase, eBay is there to help.

I agree, and PayPal is very helpful too.
