I spent some time this morning unsubscribing from 6 different vendors e Mail lists.  THese are vendors that I have ordered merchandise from in the past and whose offerings I like.   SO why unsubscribe?   THey are all guilty of the dreaded e Mail creep.   THey have subscribed to the theory that if sending one e Mail a week to their subscriber list is good then sending one every day is even better.  Well it's not.  It's annoying so they are goners.  QVC joined that list quite a long time ago by the way.

@KathyPet When vendors start doing that to me I cannot unsubscribe fast enough, it drives me crazy!

BTW, your right about QVC I unsubscribed a couple of months back!

I do the same thing - get so fed up with inbox stuffed with offers, etc., I'll take the time to unsubscribe.  I always wonder if the sender is made aware of this.  I sure hope so.

I just did a bunch of unsubscribe this week too.

I feel like it clogs up my e-mail.

SO annoying.   Ahhhh, I feel better now.   Smiley Happy

PetSmart must think I own a kennel.............I started getting emails an hour after I left the store.    I only "subscribed" because the cashier seemed to have a quota.............      I quickly hit the "un".

The WORST offender of email creep: ULTA ... at least once a day, almost every day with a very long scroll down list of offers.

I don't take advantage of any offers because they are all products that I have no interest in.  There is an Ulta within 6 minutes of my regular home:  I use the $3.50 coupon on simple healthcare items.  All other coupons get given away.

It must cost them something to bombard each person's email:  maybe they have statistics to measure the lack of interest as determined by " No Sale ."

I prefer if they offer options - email daily - weekly or monthly. I don't see daily as every necessary.

I have a problem with Taste of Home.  I enjoyed getting their recipes daily for a very long time.  But suddenly, every time I try to open one, it shuts down Safari on my computer.  I've tried contacting them, but nothing. They can't even find the right extension to put me through to.  Now I just delete at once or lose Safari again.  Wish someone could change that for me, or tell me how. I miss those recipes.
