Is there a fire near you? I just heard about a fire near Durango.

In the past two days we've had 6 fires within the city. It's crazy dry. One of those fires was caused from fireworks!! Idiots!

Oh and that doesn't include the 3 housefires here.

@SilleeMee  Yes there was.  As far as I know they have it under control.. it was close to us.  We received pre-evac notices on our phones.  But we were far enough away and they jumped right on it so we didn't have to evac..

If we would get our irrigation water then we can soak everything down.  My lilacs all dried up before they could bloom.  Our grass is like straw.  It's crazy and it's just the beginning of summer..thx for asking...DW

Glad to here that the fire was under control! The one near CC has gotten bigger but I don't know the situ there yet today. Last I heard they expanded the evac zone and put out a pre-evac alert in an area adjacent to that zone. Did your friends from CC make it home okay?

@SilleeMee  The last email they sent was they were still camping and if they felt threatened that the husband was taking his truck to CC th pickup the box with papers...pics...etc..they are in their good sized camper so as long as they are safe...have a safe place to stay and have their dog...they are good....DW
