Dropped My Microneedling Tool

Off the sink and it went in the toilet.  I took batteries out immediately and dried it really good but when I put the batteries back in, it turned on and won't shut off.

I even tried using my blow dryer to dry any water inside.  It didn't work.

Any suggestions?

My only suggestion would be to remove the batteries to dry the compartment out real well, but water might have gotten into it's little motor.  Can you open it up somehow to expose the motor.  Drying it might work.

My advice is to get a toilet lid and keep it closed unless in use.

I have had a few of my cats knock something into the bowl in the past, and one cat even fell in and got all wet, and so I learned my lesson!

Yes, open it up if you can and let it dry good for at east 24 hours.  This remind me of my Parrot that flew in my commode.   LOL  She was fine but it sure shocked her.

[ Edited ]

When my granddaughter dropped my p;hone in a watering can I was told to put the phone in uncooked rice to absorb the water.  It worked. I don't know if a microneedling is considered an electronic device or not but it might be worth a try.

Uncooked rice is a classic drying tool for wet electronics as it soaks up excess moisture in a few hours. Again, the process varies slightly based on the type of device, but most actions are the same be it an MP3 player or tablet: Get the water out.

Did you put new batteries in the device?

@rms1954,

Uncooked rice helped one of my family members with their phone, try it!
