It wasn’t a caller. It was the lady demonstrating the tablet! That’s what concerned me.

Vendor!

I bet the vendor got "scolded" about her statement after the presentation. Unfortunately, neither the producer or Kerstin caught it in time to make an on-air statement before they headed off to another product.
While it would have appropriate for the producer to alert Kerstin to make a statement before the start of the next presentation, I guess they decided to let it go and not draw attention to the comment.

She could have said," you hold the tablet in one hand, a burger in the other, and put your elbow on the steering wheel".
Don't forget your beer!

About a year ago a female vendor said the same thing. I bet it was the same person. Cant be two female vendors that stupid selling electronics on QVC.

@Edith Anne, I did not hear it, but how reckless to make such a statement. I would not be surprised if she received a reprimand for that. An apology and retraction are definitelyi in order.
Many years ago, my friend was killed by a driver who was reading the newspaper while driving. The driver was a college professor, who only received a citation for careless driving.

Seriously? If two vendors (who may be one and the same) have given this "advice", I think it might be time for QVC to take notice of this ill advised selling tcninique.

First the car would slow down to 40, then speed up to 60.. Then brake, and slow down again. Mercedes would crawl to right side of lane line, then speed up, slow down and swerve to left side of lane. I might add this is on the 101 in California, near Silicon Valley area! If you live around there, you know of which horror I speak.
We were behind the car, and could not pass for a while because of cars on both sides. I was thinking it was someone high, or drinking. Then I really got biased and was thinking it was a dementia patient, or a little kid with parents car. I was starting to get a bit scared. FINALLY we could pass to the left. I was wanting to know who this was, and trying to find pen and paper to write license down.. I was that concerned. As we passed this was what i saw, a woman about 45 yrs of age, signing what looked like contracts on her steering wheel!!!! I was so astounded I could not find pencil until we passed her. Yes, she had a pile of papers on her steering wheel. A pen in one hand. She signed a page and threw it on empty passenger seat, and went on to sign another page. In the time it took us to pass her, and for me to look behind and keep staring...I never saw her head look up to the road, not once! I am still fuming. I would have turned her in hands down. She nearly caused 2 accidents. What an idiot. Really.
next time I will have cell phone ready for video. If I had license number, or video...I would have gone to police.
@shoekitty Why DIDN'T you turn her in? Next time call 911 from your cell phone and give the plate number, car type, route number, and direction to the dispatcher. They don't need a video after the fact. They need the opportunity to stop the irresponsible driver before they injure or kill someone.
When we were in back of her we didnt know who was driving. It all happened so fast. Then I was sort of in shock. We were going 70, when we were passing her, then it was our off ramp. Thats when we saw it was a woman, and I saw what she was doing. Next time, let me tell you I will be prepared with cell phone in hand. I could kick myself. If we weren't on the freeway I think I would have followed her, and taped her. Never in my driving experience have I encountered someone so negligent and guilty of endangering others lives. Not too mention her life.
