i've had a couple people that came into my life that thrived on drama.  there was constant upheaval and messes.  i put up with it until i had enough and then i distanced myself big time.

my children had their problems, but thankfully they didn't want to have such upheaval and it didn't last too long.

life comes with it's own set of problems and i don't dump or involve others if i can help it.  i want to have as much peace in my life as possible.

@hckynut@I don't know if you are willing to try my home wound remedy but I use manuka honey. It is anti bacterial and helps to speed healing...read online and check with your doctor but I have to tell you that I have healed many things including corns on feet with this stuff.

But "bad things happening" are not drama per se unless someone *creates* drama in and around what happens. Drama usually means some sort of interpersonal conflict, not just something bad happening to someone.

Bad thing: Someone dies. Everyone feels bad, goes to funeral, hears reading of will and that's that. No drama.

Drama: Screaming scene at hospital, police called, escorted off premises, siblings coming to blows in lawyer's office, running over someone by Mercedes in parking lot.

The first group can happen to anyone. Not everyone has to deal with the second group - and if they do, they can choose to step away from much of it.

I agree with @Moonchilde

And I think the drama becomes obvious when the person involved tries to include numerous other people.  Not asking your friends for help, but a much more involved level which demands attention and creates stress on others.

It includes amping up the emotional component to the highest level one can squeeze out of another.

Here is a quote I love by a facebook page, "Aunty Acid"

Every time you feel yourself being pulled into other people's nonsense, repeat theses words...
"not my circus, not my monkeys"

Not sure if this is drama as some would describe it, but it is for me. For over 6 weeks now myself/my wife and my doctor have been fighting a very painful wound that does not want to heal.

Next week I will be going to an Advanced Wound Care Center with hopes of them being able to get this wound to start to heal. It started strangely and it is in an area where it just seems to not heal. I have had so many injuries and wounds, but only 1 that comes even close to this one.

That 1 in particular was when I spilled boiling hot coffee into my lap. Had 2nd degree burns in much of my groin area, and it took over 6 months to begin to even heal. This one, while a bit different, is just as painful, but it is not even looking like it wants to heal.

Drama? Guess that is up to anyone that reads this, but I am aware of it every waking minute, and have even been awakened by it.

John I wish you the best and fast healing, let's hope that this Center really will help you. Best of luck to you and your wife,😀

We all deal with life's ups and downs.

Some people in RL and here thrive on turning everything into a drama.  (and they are the star of each and every drama)
