I am perplexed as to why having children is automatically linked to drama.

Teen angst aside, lol, it's just part of life.

Having children or not having children doesn't seem to determine whether or not there is "drama" in life.

I think the word itself has such a negative tone and used too lightly.  jmoymmv

People who like drama will find it, or create it if necessary.  It's like a drug to them.

In some people, it's the 'thrill' of creating it.   They must be bored in their lives.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

My job was the source of most of the drama surrounding my life. I spent 25 years in the financial industry and when I finally got to retire -- I walked away from all of that.

I think there's lots of drama on social media, FB especially.

As we see in the same few posters on these forums day after day. Not referring to anyone who has posted recently in this thread, just an observation.  Both an antidote to boredom and an addiction to "nasty" - both being it and calling it ;-)

Drama is around us everyday of our lives. It's how we react to it that is the issue.

Kids

Job

Traffic

News

Shopping

Banking

Social media

And the list goes on and on.
