Is your job like a soap opera? Lately mine is. Without going into details, yesterday, my supervisor and a co-worker of mine had a HUGE blow up. She was in tears, and he was so angry (the angriest that I have ever seen him) that he went home afterwards. He didn't want to deal with anyone, or anything a minute longer.

Co-worker always sees herself as the victim. Constantly whines, and makes mountains out of things that are not even molehills. People try to explain things to her, and she just doesn't pick up what they are laying down, and she always says, "I didn't know that. That must be new policy", etc.

Can our supervisor be a jerk? Yes, at times, but since I've worked with him, I have not seen or heard him say anything that was out of line or unreasonable.

H/r knows about the blow up, the history from both sides. She talked to them seperatly. What was said, I don't know. It's none of my business. All I know is from what I've observed.

Supervisor has less than a year until he retires.

I have my opinions as to what he's trying to do and why, but I'm keeping those to myself.

The drama isn't over.

I swear, it's like working in a real life soap opera.

*sigh*

So, is your job like a soap opera?

Drama?
