@Lipstickdiva was probably typing to fast while on her lunch hour and just left out one word of the sentence. The Dr. seems to have said no and they should "not" come. Good decision but I hate that most will loose their income.

I seriously think my computer and/or keyboard has an issue. I find myself typing away and I'll look up and it's skipping words and letters or there is nothing on the screen at all!!!
The answer was that you should NOT continue to have cleaning people in your home. I thought it was interesting that this was addressed given that someone started a thread about her neighbor continuing to have cleaning people come in and she received some replies about how she shouldn't judge her neighbors, it was their house, their business, etc. She was even referred to as Gladys Kravitz. Now we have a medical doctor that has stated you shouldn't continue to do so.

I also think it's a bad idea to keep having a cleaning person (or ANY service person) come to your home at this time, but as one of the posters who said "HI GLADYS!" to the poster who was talking about her neighbor, I also don't much care for people who keep watch on what their neighbors are doing. It's creepy and intrusive, IMO.
Quite a different matter if you are just being concerned about a neighbor's well being. But I doubt that poster was checking in with her neighbor to see if there was anything she could do to help her.

I didn't see the show and was glad to see this info. Thanks for posting.
We've been going back and forth about this. I've been thinking I would cancel, but just haven't wanted to call and tell them not to come. I like them so much and know they need the money. I did cancel my mom's housekeeper for now, and mom is planning to keep paying for as long as is feasible. I'll be doing the same for us.
(I also thought Jen Aniston had gotten her medical degree at first) lol

@QueenDanceALot maybe she was taking out the garbage and saw the car arrive. Lots of services have the name plastered on the sides of their car or van. It might have been an innocent observation. I see people come and go from my neighbor’s house when I’m outside all the time.

I don't have a cleaning service but if I did I would never let them bring in a vacuum they used somewhere else. I watched a man with a cleaning service review a vacuum on youtube and when he showed the roller bar it was just packed with hair like it wasn't cleaned in a year.

What is wrong with so many in this country who are more concerned with getting their hair done, having people in and out of their homes, still going out and about even if they have been told to stay home etc etc etc. 2 large weddings were shut down in NJ and 2 more in NY. Spring break continuing, have we all lost our minds??
THIS IS REAL FOLKS! The only way we can get through this is come together for the common good of all our people and our country. We all have different levels of fear/concern, some more than others, and by being irresponsible with our behaviors sure doesn't help. Our stores are doing their best by stocking what they have, cleaning at night and limiting the amount of certain products. Please be responsible, limit social interaction, wash your hands, and lets come together, it's in thee best interest of us all. Stay safe

I feel sad that people need to be told something like this and can't figure it out on their own. Commom sense and following recommendations should be what all adults are doing.

Yes! Listened to a podcast about her. A real germ spreader

She also advised that you change your clothes when you get home and probably wash them.
And no, you should not have a dinner party inviting over a few friends. Social distancing is just that.
