Katie Couric interviewed three men that are trying to stop the dolphin drive hunting taking place in Japan. They said, for those that tweet, we should send a tweet voicing our outrage toward the Japanese government for allowing this to happen. We can also donate to the Sea Shepherd conservation effort fighting against the slaughter of whales, dolphins, and fish.

She sent out a tweet regarding this very thing. It has really snowballed since her tweet.

Watch the movie "The Cove", it was a documentary done back in 2009. Very enlightening about the practice of dolphin hunting.

Angel is a rare albino calf that was caught a few days ago. Her mother was slaughtered right in front of her. She's being held and these men are working very hard to get her released.

I watched The Cove years ago. Horrible!

It is horrible sweetpea, but that is the point. People should be aware. It's such a sad and heartbreaking thing.

I don't know why they continue to slaughter dolphins, so much of the world is outraged by it. Many have been protesting for decades. How they justify it, I don't know.

The government continues to say that it's because it's their culture. Well, if that's true, their culture started in the '60s.{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Noelseven ~ A news report stated that the majority of the Japanese had no idea this was going on year after year after year....do I believe that? - hmmm dunno. But since embassador Kennedy's talk, the local Japanese news programs have been airing the slaughter.....and protests.

They have slaughtered over 700 in the last few months. Supposedly people of the town have no knowledge of this. Can't believe that one, either.
