Re: Dolly Parton Dallas Halftime

The only thing I hated was her uniform Smiley Tongue.  Wow what a bod for someone approaching 80!

Re: Dolly Parton Dallas Halftime

I didn't watch.  My husband, brother and brother in law watched.  Didn't even know she was there, till they told me. Football bores me. Unless our team is in the running.  Then I pay attention.

Re: Dolly Parton Dallas Halftime

I just watched her performance at the halftime show. I noticed she didn't move much and held onto whatever that was behind her a lot. You can make your outward appearance look younger, your health and physical ability isn't a quick fix. She still looks better than any other 77 year old I know.

I just watched this on YouTube...Dolly looks amazing! Honestly, with the sparkly mesh on her midriff & legs, she wasn't showing any more skin than she usually does.

Re: Dolly Parton Dallas Halftime

I’ve met Dolly in the early days at Dollywood. She was warm, friendly & funny. No one we met, locally, had anything bad to say about Dolly & her philanthropy is well known. She added so much to the development of the Tennessee Valley & employed so many people who would not have such opportunities if it weren’t for her. For that alone I respect her.

Dolly enjoys her performances & is genuine. No one is more self deprecating than Dolly who often says “it takes a lot of time and money to look this cheap, honey” she’s not competing with younger Dallas cheerleaders or trying to look young. She is who she is with no apologies & has fun. Yep, she’s rich & had & can afford any plastic surgery she chooses but she gives a lot back & is truly a good person. Mostly everyone loves Dolly. I thought she looked fabulous tho I missed the performance.

That is my favorite Dolly Parton quote about taking a lot of money to look this cheap. She does have a good sense of humor.

She is such a kind and charitable person, I've never heard anyone say one bad word about her.

Can't say that about many people.

That's what matters, not what she wears or what plastic surgeries she has had or her age or dressing according to her age. So sick of that quote.

She's a self deprecating confident woman who gives zero letter after Es about what anyone thinks about her appearance. She pleases herself, and that's what a modern woman does and who she is.

I saw her.  Well..... I suppose for her age, she's done wonders with the surgeries she's had to make her look good.

However, I thought the Cowgirls cheerleader outift looked ridiculous on her.  She might have worn something more age appropriate and celebrity style.  The actual cheerleaders were down stage and they looked lovely and of course younger which had them show her up if you ask me.

Nothing against he women as I've read she's helped out communities through the years.

I think she looked amazing. If she does have a surgeon. I want his name and number.
