My friend and I are going to the dollar store later today.  We're going to go for a walk in the park and then get soup and salads and see what the dollar store has.  I want to make favors for our Thanksgiving guests.  What....depends on what I find in the dollar store today.

@bmorechick

People were asking about your soaps, but no one paged you, so here's hoping that you see the shout out and answer their question. Cat Happy

We have a Dollar Tree and a Dollar General Store within walking distance.  The Dollar Tree is the one where all the "goodies" are.  Dollar General is a ripoff IMO.

I like to buy Reynolds Single sheet pop-up sheets.  I buy about 5 boxes at a time.  Also, parchment paper.  Cleaning items are good too, but you have to know what to buy.  There are some things that are useless IMO.

I buy my lip glosses there too.  Also, micro-fiber dusting items.  I  go to Dollar Tree before I go to Publix because there are some things that Publix doesn't have OR they do and they are much more $$$$$.....

I love Dollar Tree for little ornaments like those!!

I also love their gift bags, ribbon and greeting cards.  They are nice, and you can't beat the price.

I buy facial tissue there too.  I'm just going to blow my nose in it and throw it away, so I don't want to spend a lot of money on it.  I also buy wax paper, foil and cling wrap from there.

I found these nice little glass cutting boards there.  I often cut just enough of something for the meal I'm making for myself, so a little cutting board is fine, and easy to store.  They are sanitary, and I have four of them because it takes me awhile to fill up my dishwasher, so I'd be washing them between loads if I didn't have 4.  At $1 each, it's no big deal to purchase 4.

I also have several microfiber cloths from there.  I run a special load of those in the washer, so--once again--it's good to have several.

Their little storage baskets are nice too.  I have some to organize the island in my kitchen, which I use as a pantry.  Also some in my freezer.  And I use them in desk drawers too.

I really love Dollar Tree for a lot of things.

Yes, their greeting cards are nice, for the price.  Also, Holiday and Christmas cards, too.  I place them on neighbors' doorsteps, all around the neighborhood.  Well, the neighbors that I know or regurlarly chat with and/or wave to (as I walk by).

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
