I'm sure this has been discussed before but I'm a somewhat of a newbie here. I apologize if it's redundant. I have a three year old chocolate lab I rescued from the shelter where I volunteer, so no history on her. The poor dear suffers from allergies, scratching her ears all the time, rubbing her face, etc. She's been to the vet numerous times for this and is on a grain-free, fish and potato diet. She occasionally gets some spinach or other veggie as her 'people food treat.' She takes ChlorTabs and an occasional prednisone to manage it. The vet talked me out of getting the blood tests to determine what she is allergic to as, in his opinion, the results are hit or miss. I've heard this from folks that have had the tests done, too.

I thought we were doing OK but the last couple of days have been rough. Does anyone have any holistic-type (or other) ideas for us?

TIA,

Kate
