The highlight of the evening was the long jump. The winners were a Yorkie, a Beagle and a Chessie. Our dog got distracted by a little girl eating an ice cream sandwich and swam over to her and not the toy..

@Lila Belle That sounds like so much fun! Our other dog can't stand the pool so Rocky just has us to play with.

Hooray for the beagle! I've had four beagles and loved them all. Our first, Muffin, loved to swim. In summer we'd take her to the nearby lake where she and our kids would swim the day away.

How much doggone GOOD FUN would this be???!!!

Reminds me of the ad on tv with the neighborhood pooch who turns on the water at the kitchen sink, fills up the living room, invites his barking buds over to practice their synch swimming. Love this ad - way funny but then again not really. I do laugh anyway every time I see it!!!!
