@Italian gal  Yes.  Sam Walton founded Sam's Club and Walmart.

 

Sam's West (dba Sam's Club) operates as a separate subsidiary of Walmart.

I  know have seen the same products in both stores. Maybe different labeling? We had a Sams Club in our area long before Cisco came around.

I thought it was common knowledge that Sam's and Walmart are owned by the Walton family.

@Italian gal, If you mean WalMart and not wamart I think a simple way to verify is to go to Sam's official website and find the about us link. That should indicate the WalMart connection.
