Hi,  

Does anyone live in the areas of Jamesville, NY, DeWitt, NY, Fayetteville, NY or Manlius, NY? They are south/southeast of Syracuse, NY. 

Share the good, bad and ugly.

Fayetteville/Manlius area is a desireable spot. Nice homes and good schools.

My inlaws live in Fayetteville, NY.  This is a nice community.  Nice little town square, surrounded by shops and resteraunts and banks and things.  Very small.   the town has everything you'd want in terms of shopping, services.  They have a  section with older homes and buildings, which are kept up nicely, plus some nice condo areas.   Fayetteville is right next to a great state park - Green Lakes -  for recreation.  

This, and Manlius, are the nicer suburbs of Syracuse, as I understand it (I know Rochester, better!).
