Does anyone watch soaps anymore?

I used to watch soaps while doing my housework. I rarely watch anymore. I discovered a long time ago that I could go away on vacation for a month or more and barely miss a thing. Once upon a time General Hospital was great but it is all criminals nowadays. I pop in at All My Children occasionally, and watch The Young and the Restless sometimes. Perhaps I am old and jaded but the plots seem unbelievable lately.
