My sister and I were watching Idiotest tonight and at the final puzzle our cable went on the fritz and we missed the answer.

Logically which one of these words does not belong?

CROSS CHECK

TAKE TIME

PLAY DATE

SPACE CADET

@Deb1010yetagain-----I don't watch this, never heard of it,but,it sounds like fun.    Since I don't know anything about it , I'm going to just take a wild guess.   

    Take time is usually to one person.

     Cross check is in hockey, a team

     Playdate at least two

     Space Cadet is usually a class or someone involved with other cadets.        I am going with Take Time.

      Hope you find the definite answer and can let me know I'm wrong(as usual)---------tedEbear

The answer was cadet. If you watched the show puzzle showed each word in 3d, therefore all the other words could have the double in front it, except for cadet. p.s. they both picked it so they won the ten grand.

Hi Deb1010yetagain,

They just aired this episode.  I don't know if you noticed that the words were in two colors one in front of the other making them double, the words became DOUBLE CROSS, DOUBLE CHECK, DOUBLE TAKE, DOUBLE TIME, DOUBLE PLAY, DOUBLE DATE, DOUBLE SPACE,  but not double cadet which was the word that did not belong, both of the contestants picked the right word and they won, I think $10,000. 

It was a fun show, I had not heard of before, I actually tried to find out on the gsn website, but got sidetracked playing idiotest, will have go back when I have more time and it is not so late to play again.  Thanks for mentioning it.
