Re: Does anyone shop Zulily?

Not I.  Not shopping where I can't return things.

What is the big deal about giving your email address?

Their parent company is the same as for QVC, they do not abuse it, they don't sell or share it, and that they promise.

They send me ONE email a day which is the list of what is featured for the day.  No spam.

It's easier for them to track what you  are looking at, and when. How if every company you want to browse on-line wants it too?

I don't mind that.  They track themselves, what you look at on their site.  I don't have any problem with that, in fact, I like that Amazon does it, they have suggested great ideas when I'm looking for gifts.

I don't see why that is a problem, they don't force you to buy anything.  I buy most things online, I've always hated trolling the malls.

My daughter loves Lug bags, I bought her one from QVC last year.  Zulily has them featured today and I just ordered one for half off the price, and I know what their prices are so that's a great deal.

Re: Does anyone shop Zulily?

For anyone interested, I just counted, they offer deals from 36 different companies today.

Jim Shore, Lug, kitchen stuff, candles, etc.  A lot to look at if anyone is interested.

Re: Does anyone shop Zulily?

I have shopped there maybe 3 times, but I have essentially limited it to items that I have had before or previously used.  Yes, they do charge for shipping, which also is not very expedient, and no, they don't accept returns.  This is the deal breaker for me, as I'm sure it might be for others.  However, the prices are usually excellent, sometimes even 50% reduced.

Re: Does anyone shop Zulily?

Their shipping policy is to charge for the first item you order in a day.

That's always been $5.95 for me.  After that, you may order as much as you wish that day and the shipping is free.

I ordered four pieces of Irish pottery before St. Patrick's Day.  Stoneware, heavy items.  All I paid to ship all of that was only $.5.95.

Apparently on the weekends you get two free days of shipping after one shipping order has been placed.

Yes, it can take a couple of weeks to get to you.  Apparently they order directly from companies once you order something from them, so you wait for that to get to Zulily then wait for Zulily to get it to you.

Nope.  I don't shop anywhere where you can't return an item.

@Noel7  I always pay $7.95, sometimes more as if the item is heavy or large, more is charged.

Yes, it can be.

The trick is to look it over first and make the first purchase of the day something with the lower charge.

I just ordered five things, one of which is that Nellie's laundry soap people love.  It's usually sold in huge amounts, but I got enough for 100 loads, no shipping, and it has to be close to 5 lbs.

I think the first thing I ordered was a cute little Xmas box.  Everything else, no shipping.  Got a great candle too.

Re: Does anyone shop Zulily?

@Noel7, I had no idea they carried Nellie's until you mentioned it. Great prices! Time for some new dryer balls! Thanks!
