Does anyone out there go RV-ing?

Years ago when the kids were little, we had a 24' pull-behind camper that we parked year round at a campground about 40 miles from home. It was tons of fun, but got to be too much when the kids started getting into school and sports and all that jazz. Just the other day I asked DH if he thought that might be fun to get into again. (Kids are grown). He said that he wouldn't mind, but would only be interested in one of the self contained ones that you drive. No, I am not referring to one of those $100,000.00 Winnebagos, but there is a model that is about 24' and sort of resembles a van (but bigger). We were just thinking how much fun that would be to vacation with the fur babies, drive to visit relatives out of state and so on.

If anyone has one of these type campers, I would love to open a dialogue.
