Does anyone order much from Amazon?

If so, can you tell me if you have had many problems? I have found several things on Amazon dot com that I have considered ordering, but for some reason I am very hesitant about doing so. I'm not sure why, as I've never really heard anything bad about them.

I assume I need to register first? How are their s&h charges? On average are their prices better than most places? Any thoughts and/or experiences with Amazon are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
