Does anyone on here have Lupus or know much about it?

My 24 year old neice was diagnosed a couple months ago. Today they took her to the hospital she has pulmonary hemorrages, wondering just how concerned i should be about this. Is it life threatening? all I know is they gave her 2 units of blood.
