I've never watched any of the demonstrations on the Q, as it just seemed like an over-priced blender. I was shopping in Williams-Sonoma a couple of weeks ago, though, and they were doing demonstrations with it in their store....and giving out samples of the stuff they fixed. I was amazed at how much you could do with one, so easily and so quickly. They made a deliscious hot custard in just minutes. Also, steaming hot soup made with stuff from the fridge--also very quickly.
