I have been using Verizon DSL for a number of years but over the last several months have had a LOT of issues with connectivity. I have had a serviceman out to my home 3 times now and they seem to get it fixed and then within a day or so it is right back to not working again. I have changed out everything, new phone, new filters, new modem box, new computer even. My phone line has alot of static off and on as well. I have asked them to check the lines inside and outside to see if maybe some animal has chewed through something or if there is a short somewhere or if someone has tapped into my line for free service. I don't know what else to do except go with either FIOS or another provider. I am afraid if I choose FIOS with a contract, I may get the same shoddy service from Verizon, but be stuck for an even longer amount of time and still not be able to get online. Anyone with any ideas before I cancel my service alltogether?? TIA
Edited to say that I am typing this from work, because I can't get online from home!!
