Without getting into politics of any of the candidates and arguing, is anyone else sick of all the politics day and night on the news?
I am so sick of it that I don't even have the tv on in the day time anymore and just listen to my 30 minutes of local news!
There's so many other more important things going on in the world (like the flooding in Louisiana the earthquake in Italy and on and on) they could focus on. But nope every time I turn on the major news channels its 99.9% politics.
I cant wait for the election to be over! lol. I even unfollowed lots of news sources on Facebook that have too many political posts. I will re follow them when the election is over!
(I also dvr all my tv shows so I don't have to see ads of any kind, not just political).

not tired at all......because each and every day new information is revealed and to me that is IMPORTANT.

Nothing new really. It's like that during any election. Same as the Olympics. It gets shoved in your face.

We've never ever been through anything political like we have the past year. It has been horrendous...a nightmare. I change the channel as soon as it starts. Yesterday, I heard "74 days until the election". I thought, "we can't stand 74 more days of the endless rhetoric."

I change the channel, Turner Classic Movies shows some wonderful old films.

And also the music channels to listen too after a hectic day.

not counting today we have 75 days left. the news cable channels seem to cover little else. but it is necessary and important to know what is going on! there is so much at stake! we can't afford to not know when we go to the polls!

Quit watching the total repeat of the same stuff over and over again, over 2 months ago now. I watch just about anything but a news show of any kind.

I'm a political news junkie but I do break up my viewing with Investigation Discovery where I can watch stuff about serial killers, abductions and sex slaves.

When I really need a break from all the horrors, I watch my DVRs of So You Can Dance - this season is AWESOME. I'm just sorry it's only on once a week and it will be over by the end of September.
Boo.

Thanks for the replies, well I like to get other news not just political. I dont watch tv all day or I would watch a movie but then I will get more ads..lol. (like I said I dvr shows to watch later at night etc so I can scan out the ads). So anyway, I have music on now in the background each day instead. And I always listened to music too but I liked to get world news also. So I will just stick with music now. lol.
