Does anyone else do this?

We had dinner with relatives yesterday, so today I made a Thanksgiving dinner here at home. The reason is because even though I enjoy letting someone else do all the work, I miss having leftovers, so a few years ago I started making a duplicate meal here at home.

The turkey came out perfectly and for the first time, I made dressing instead of stuffing because I forgot to stuff the bird. Previously, "dressing" was anathema to me; but I had to resort to baking it separately today. Oh what I've been missing! It came out moist and delicious and I don't think I'll go back to stuffing a bird again.

Anyway, does anyone else make a Thanksgiving dinner on the weekend so you'll have leftovers? It's one of the best ideas I've had in a while.
