Does Your Front Entry Door Have Windows?

I've been noticing a lot of front doors lately without them (I'm not referring to sidelights). Ours has three little windows and, when we replace the door, we'll be getting windows, or one small window, again.

DH and I are having an "issue," about our kitchen door--the one accessing the garage, which we'd like to have replaced. Unfortunately, NY has (what else) a new code banning windows on these doors. Of course, if you already have one, like we do, you're "grandfathered," but if you replace it, windows are verboten.{#emotions_dlg.angry} So, I'd like our current door painted, while DH wants it replaced lol. That's the issue{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}.



The pain they have cost us, the evils that never happened.
