Does Your Dog Mope When You Leave

Hi, I'm new to the Pet Lovers but not new to the boards. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has a dog that mopes around until you arrive back home. The reason I know mine does is that my husband says if I leave at all, even for a tiny little while, my dog just sits at the front window looking out until I arrive back home. Then when I walk through the door his tail wags so hard that he can barely walk--he's so cute!
